Kathmandu, Nepal women’s national team goalkeeper and captain Anjila Tumbapo Subba has joined Indian Women’s League (IWL) club Sethu FC for half a season. She has already begun training with the team and is set to take charge between the posts.

This marks her third stint in the Indian league, having previously played for Sethu FC and even captained the club during the 2023–24 season.

Speaking about her move, Anjila said: “For now, I’ll play with Sethu, then mid-season I’ll return to a European club.”

Known as Nepal’s first-choice goalkeeper, Anjila continues to gain international club experience, which is expected to further strengthen her performance for the national team in upcoming tournaments.
