Pokhara Avengers sign English wicketkeeper-batter Adam Rossington for NPL Season 2

Kathmandu: Pokhara Avengers have signed experienced English wicketkeeper and aggressive batter Adam Rossington for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2.

The franchise announced that the 32-year-old will join the team to strengthen their top order for the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from November 16 to December 12 (Mangsir 1–27).

This will mark Rossington’s first competitive appearance in Nepal, adding another chapter to his long domestic and franchise career.

Rossington began his professional journey with Middlesex before moving on to play for Northamptonshire and Essex in England’s county circuit. He has featured in over 100 first-class matches and hundreds of T20 games, scoring more than 3,500 runs in the shortest format.

Known for his explosive starts in the powerplay and his sharp wicketkeeping skills, Rossington brings valuable experience and balance to Pokhara’s lineup.

Internationally, he has represented several major T20 leagues around the world. He played for the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), delivering impressive short-term performances, and was part of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape squad that won the inaugural SA20 title in South Africa—scoring a crucial 57 off 30 balls in the final.

Additionally, Rossington has featured for Dubai Capitals in the International League T20 (ILT20) and for London Spirit in The Hundred in England. His diverse experience across different conditions and leagues makes him a valuable addition to the Avengers’ roster for NPL Season 2.
