Kathmandu: Sudurpaschim Royals have officially re-signed New Zealand all-rounder Scott Kuggeleijn for the upcoming second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Kuggeleijn was one of the standout performers in the inaugural edition of the SBL NPL, finishing as the joint-highest wicket-taker and playing a pivotal role in the Royals’ strong campaign. His pace, control, and ability to contribute with the bat made him a key figure for the team.

Expressing his delight at the signing, Chairman Swotantra Pratap Shah said, “Scott’s experience significantly boosts our bowling attack, and his all-round ability adds valuable depth to our batting order.”

Kuggeleijn also shared his enthusiasm about returning to Nepal, expressing his eagerness to once again play in front of the passionate Sudurpaschim Royals fans and contribute to the team’s success this season.

With Kuggeleijn’s return, Sudurpaschim Royals aim to strengthen their squad and mount a serious challenge for the NPL Season 2 title.
